The 1081 North of Nan to Huai Khon

After meeting up with the group on the Chiang Rai bikers run to Nan, we decided that since we had our nice new Nan map in hand we would take the not much talked about 1081 up to the Border check point at Huai Khon to start our ride into Laos. This is a great road and much of it is resurfaced although some short sections are still under way and the north end of the road passing Bo Klua narrows out but still fun to ride, with great views.
