Honda XR 250
Nice ride today, actually I intended to check out my new street legal XR 250, but it was so much fun and at the end we had a long tour, that started 10 am until about 5 pm. Due to some problems with the Kawasaki, we had to turn around and do some repairs, I've never seen a motorcycle break down so often as this bike, o.k it's an old lady, but my XR is not much younger and never let's me down, or maybe it's just a luck thing.

After the successful repair, we started off again and found some more interesting staff we hadn't been on yet. The new XR was nice to ride with and was strong enough to conquer most of the sections without complaints. When it was almost 5 pm we encountered a very steep section downhill not too far away from the Samoeng Intersection, we had to walk our bikes down the hill, I've never ever done that in all my years riding, turning around not possible at this point, probably steeper then "last man standing" At that point I was not even sure, if we were able to get down the bikes without smashing them up completely, but one more time Mr. Luck was on our side and helped us manage this heavy passage, with not too many problems...

Yes great video. Funny at the end, I thought the Thai gentleman was away to get a stick to beat the both of you with hahaha

Yeah, after watching the video I had the same thing in mind, but actually it were those dogs that didn't stop barking, so the old lady came out with her stick to give them a lesson. Must be frightening for the villagers and dogs, when two guys come out of nowhere. Like aliens invading their property, if this was in Germany for sure we would have gotten our asses whipped....looking forward to go riding with you this friday...

Yes. it's all about exploring and finding new tracks, I won't post them here, first of all I don't use gps as other guys and secondly, I think some terrains have been blocked, because too many people trying out there Enduro skills. Don't get me wrong, I love to see more and more riders coming to Thailand, but sometimes the gps staff makes it too easy for everybody to go somewhere, sometimes very dangerous staff and sometimes easy staff, then some local guys getting distracted and shortly after that, you see a fence raised, similar to the Huay Tung Tao short cut, it used to be the secret of some trail riders years ago, now everyone knows this short cut, the military isn't too happy about the fact that everyone can just enter there, without paying the 20 Baht entree fee. I know that most riders are not interested to hang around in the lake anyway, but see it trough the eyes of them, some foreigners just disrespecting their laws, I think it's o.k for the locals
