Poking around off-road on the east side of Doi Suthep
Took the KTM 300 EXC-E 2-Stroke for a blast up Doi Suthep mountain today.

The east & south sides of Doi Suthep are very steep gradients and it's hard to find an acceptable way down (unless your Darren & John). Chris & Hieko came down the other day and reported some obstructions (report on thos here obstructions-on-the-trails-up-doi-suthep-mountain-t1240.html) , looks like I took the same route down on the east side that they did, which exits at the new Government "dome" complex on R 121 (Canal Rd) south of the 700 yr Stadium.

I was lucky to stumble upon a Hmong Village celebration, wasn't expecting this up Doi Suthep , so phone camera photo's only

The easterly route down, is reasonably easy single track. They have erected a new concrete post with 13 layers of barbed wire fence running north-south from this trail towards the 700 yr stadium track, the southern end of the fence ends at position:

There is just enough space to get a bike around the end of a fence and continue down the trail
