"found a new track through from Muang Hiam to 14 kms west of Phonsovan. 126 kms - no food or water. Took 24 hours... Bring your knobblies!!! Southern end looks like they are driving a new road through and will be spectacular. Not suitable for overweight Africa Twins!"

"Took 24 hours" Holy shit and only 126 kms that sounds like fun for sure.

Taking the 2504 and then 3909 past the old American base and then heading North on the 3910 would be an interesting trail, now on my to do list.....
