I rode down to the pier and bought a ticket for the 90 minute (25 km) cruise north along the Mighty Mekong to the Pak Ou Caves.
The cool breeze was very welcome.
A new bridge at 19.929272, 102.188468.
A brief stop at 'Whiskey Village' ie Ban Xang Hai along the way.
And on to the caves.
There are two levels. These pics are from the lower level; hopefully I will be able to add movie footage from the upper level cave.
A very enjoyable morning.
Opposite the caves.
Only a 40 minute visit to the caves and needed a bit more time.
But business is business and this site is a goldmine.
Back to LP and I couldn't resist another riverside baguette.
