Onto the Yamaha for the 30km ride out to the Kuang Si waterfalls.
The road was badly potholed, which was OK because it kept the traffic at a careful pace.
Along the way I stopped for an excellent larp gai at the Mekong Sunset restaurant, which would be delightful late afternoon after a few hours at the waterfall.
Lots of land is being cleared for development.
The waterfalls were a perfect respite from a very hot and smokey day.
A couple of very soothing hours in and out of the water, then back towards LP.
Oops.
At the Old Quarters in LP to be greeted by the delightful Vietnamese manager.
And one of these, which I had never before tried. Nice too.
