Honda CB 500 X adventure bike conversion

Jenny Dakar on the advrider forum talked about that. Basically you can't put a 21 on the CB500X or it will hit on full compression. If you do that you have to get all new forks, etc. etc. So it sounds like it is a lot more difficult and a lot more expense.

Just wheelie before you hit the dog. :-)

Also, if you're not planning on serious stump jumping, the Level 1 kit makes a noticeable difference. With where and how I plan to ride, I couldn't justify the L2 or L3. But, the L1 is sweet, and a lot less expensive.

Rally Raid are launching their CB500X conversion kit, to be available here in Thailand, at the Touratech event in Kanchanaburi this weekend.

Well, talked with Rally Raid UK and this is legit. Tab is a good friend of theirs and is working to bring it to Thailand.

Outstanding kit. If you're in Chiang Mai and want to see what it is like on the 500X, drop me a line.

Checking the ADV site, the Level 3 kit is 87,000 Baht - at an exchange rate of 30 to the dollar. Any idea what the kit costs here in LOS ?
