2016/ 2017 Honda CB 500 F's in Chiang Mai

New styling, lighter exhaust with different pitch, LED headlight, easier gear shifting, modified fuel tank cap & adjustable front brake lever are the upgrades on the 2016/ 2017 Honda CB 500 F.

Retail price is 210,000 Bht, I think with a small windscreen it will look better than the CB 500 X, the handlebars need to be raised too. It also needs a rear fixing arrangement so that luggage can be carried, the grab handles are moulded plastic and situated under the edges of the rear seat. A quick inspection, it looks like a bar will need to go from the rear footpeg stud back to the number plate bracket fixing, then Givi Box panniers can be mounted from them.

The left handlebar switch assembly is in a fixed position, presumably with a divot in the bar and one of the studs on the unit will go into the divot. Be careful adjusting the position height of the clutch lever as it can press on the headlight momentary flash switch. I thought I had a light relay problem until we discovered this.

No luggage accessories available yet for the Honda CB 500 F's and very few exposed attachments points to mount luggage. Managed to adapt the Givi pannier racks.

Fixing the rear end of the racks was the issue
