Yamaha XT1200Z SUPER TENERE (2013) Motorbike For Sale | 3115257 | MCN

A naive set of questions perhaps, but I'm curious.

Just been checking what I could get for under 2000 quid in the UK and this came up!
Obviously a totally unreal price; so what's going on?

I haven't been in the bike trade, so is it legal to advertise a bike at a false price?
If some-one did take the carrot and demand that bike at that price is there a legal obligation for the seller to allow the bike to go at that price? (typo or no typo).

I believe that although the bike is on "offer for sale", technically there is no obligation for the seller to accept that price
I'd be interested to know the full legal situation these days

read the add: "ON ROAD PRICE £10221, DEPOSIT £999, BALANCE £9222, 48 MONTHLY PAYMENTS OF £227.55, TOTAL PAYABLE £11921.40"
So what is unclear here?

Let me spell it out, if you have the cash you pay £10221 if you don't you pay a deposit of £999 and a finance total of £11921.40
£11921.40 minus £10221 = £1700.40 interest over 4 years
Based on 4 years that is a 16,6% interest rate, that is OK......
