CityNews - After a successful first music festival in May this year a second festival has been arranged, which will feature international and local musicians. The location is Nong Chong Kham lake, which is right in the centre of Mae Hong Son town.
On Friday November 9th during the evening John Nash and his Aussie Experience Band will be jamming in the Sunflower restaurant by the lake.
On Saturday night the main show will begin on the stage by the lake. First up, we are told, though this might change, will be the ‘Long Necks’ band, followed by the ‘Shan’ band. A Thai band will then play and lastly John Nash Aussie Experience Band will take you into the night.
The Vice Governor of Mae Hong Son will officiate the opening of the festival, while it is expected that because of the popularity of the festival not only crowds from Pai will attend, but also many locals of the area.
There is no cover charge for the festival. Coupons for drinks and food will be on offer at regular prices. We are told by one of the organizers that there is plenty of low-cost accommodation by the lake.
