Thai Registered Bike Border Crossings With A Bike Not Registered In Your Name

If you want to take a Thai registered bike that isn't registered in your name out of Thailand, you will need the below form (in the post link below) and 2X 10 baht tax stamps from a government office ..... this is posted else where, but very important so with the riding season nearly here, i thought it would be good to have near the top of the pile.... check the link below:

you may just be able to print the form below, which is the authorization by the owner for you to take the bike out of Thailand.

For those who do not read Thai here is a translation of what needs to be filled in (source Bangkok Riders Club)

Documents needed to take a bike not owned by you out of Thailand on a temporary basis:

1. copy of owners passport signed in ink by him

2. copy of registration book signed in ink by him

3. above authorization form signed in ink by him with 2X tax stamps

The tax stamps you need (need 2 stamps) that can be purchased from a Thai government office , to be stuck on the letter of authorization by the owner look like this (apologies for the quality of the photo)
