RideAsia.net new logo idea!! take a look

Simon Thomas (http://www.2ridetheworld.com), has designed a new RideAsia.net logo, I think it looks great, interested in people's feedback.

Your current logo picture does it for me, but the new Logos text is wicked, maybe the S should be an s..

Yeah, the present logo is more "telling" that this is a riders forum. The new logo looks nice but when I see it I would not think that this was about bikes and riding. So I would stick with the present logo.

Needs to get down and dirty..
The simple theme, of the current logo, is going to be hard to beat.

The new design draws nothing in terms of riding, nor the emotion of riding in Asia for me. I prefer the present design. Or better yet get your 950 caught in a powerslide or a deep water crossing with a water buffalo grazing off to the side in the background.

As stated in email, the current one does the job, it's on the t shirts, it says what the forums about, the new concept is missing a rider & a bike.

I love change, it's in my blood & nature but the current banner is ideal for the content of this forum.

Shall I lock this topic or will you state the old one stays ?
