CityNews – The construction of Om Koi’s ring road has begun.

The construction of a ring road project to connect four sub-districts, Om Koi, Na Kian, Sob Khong and Yang Piang, in Om Koi District started on August 27th. The project has the support of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn whose wish is to relieve traffic issues providing accessibility to villages in all seasons.
The ring road of about 105 km distance is planned to be completed by 2020 costing 23.9 million baht. The budget was funded by the Department of Rural Roads and the Chiang Mai Provincial Administrative Organisation (PAO) with the 3rd Army Infantry Division conducting the construction.
