N.O.B ride 17th August, 2012

Late notice NOB ride - a few of us are meeting at the entrance (through the arch) of the 700 year stadium 11am tomorrow (17th). Will probably go to the enduro training area around the back of the stadium and take it from there.

Wondered if one was happening.. Was booked onto a boozy one last night so no hope.. Only coming alive now..

Anyone fancy another over the weekend or ???

Hot humid day but no rain, a few of us went to the enduro training area behind the 700 year sports stadium in Chiang Mai





If you only have a couple of hours to spare this is an excellent area to go practice. It's pretty sandy and hilly, so can be used all year round, the only problem is that there's not a lot of shade so it get really hot

Pretty sandy around this area - good for all waether riding, the water sinks through the sand

Pretty wet and muddy in some places probably time to get this trials tire off and put on a MX tire

Its slopes like that, which the YZ is bloody awful at.. Keeping traction as the pipe kicks in is just tricky.
