Max - I think you'd really like this ride. Lots of steep, loose trails, an all day ride to a new destination, then some nasty steep trails back to Omkoi by a different route, untouched villages all the way, its priceless.

Well we did it, linking from the 1267 to join the north bound track that meets the 105.

We couldn't see anything we walked up and down stream but nothing surprising really with the small village so close.
A word of warning for those trying the route, after you cross the river heading south towards the 1267 it's flat and uninteresting for 1 km. After that its a bitch of a steep climb that would be impossible when it's wet.

David just came through the Omkoi trails too and loved it

Headed back down to the Omkoi region in a couple of days. Bought all the military maps of the region, there's some village names on them that might be useful for direction when talking to locals but apart from that not really any trails.
