We rode on Saturday, June 13, around the Mae Taeng loop, with the canal/river roads out and back and a side trip to the weir.Nice day for a ride, with 11 bikes and 13 participants. Lunch at the Jungle cafe - although a couple of riders pointed out afterwards that they prefer more "ma and pa" style lunches - ie, less touristy.

Obligatory bridge photo after lunch. Tum is far left in the pic.

It was her first ride on her CRF motard, apart from around the block, and she loved it. I'd had a lowering link fitted and raised the forks in the triple clamps by about 25mm - so it was far better than the enduro she's ridden in the past.

Good to see a few elephants still around.

The weir, just above the Ping / Mae Taeng river confluence was looking lovely. We've tagged this for a BBQ at some stage soon

Here's the route. We did the loop anti-clockwise, as I find the 3052 section north of the 1095 to be far more enjoyable heading south

Some of the lads split off and headed up the 1095 for a bit of fun, before joining us back at the corner for a coffee.
