Mae Kuang Dam - Chiangrai - Nan - Phayao - CNX
Riders:
Mae Kuang Dam : Con (Pimped CBR150), Bob (brand new Platinum 175), Phil (KTM 990 Adv)
CR - Nan - Phayao - CNX: Mark (DRZ400), Luke (DRZ 400), Rob (AT), Phil (KTM 990 Adv)
Choc dee again with cool WX and good viz, had a lovely ride out to the Mae Kuang Dam, 1st ride for Bob on his new bike.
Con tells me there a couple of excellent fish restaurants on the dam, with fresh fish.
Usual fun evening in Chiangrai, then onto Nan, again amazing viz north of Nan
Sun in my eyes, had a spill on some silt from the river, no damage luckily
Hangover breakfast in Nan
Viewpoint on the way back from Nan
Rob at the viewpoint (instructed that I can't show his legs, riding pants were being repaired, rode R 1148 in shorts and sandels)
Hiding from a squall near Phayao
Lunch in Phayao on the way back
