Honda 500X economy

Good friend David Learmonth took delivery of his 500X on Thursday.
So we rode out to Ob Khan National Park, mainly to check the bike for any necessary adjustments.
None needed.





On Friday we did the obligatory Samoeng Loop ride, with a detour into a Hmong village,
to allow David to check the bike in a variety of riding situations.

He rode back to Ban Mai, north of Chiang Rai this morning and told me the 500X returned
28.71 kms/litre (81 mpg) on that ride.
Not bad at all on a tight engine and via some climbs.

Yes he told me he is overjoyed with it as it does everything exceptionally well

It's such a very good bike... it does really check so many boxes. Hard to go wrong with a 500X.
