The infamous section of road 1178 (1322) between Piang Luang N19.64424° E98.63800° and Arun Thai looks to finally be showing signs of being paved, several groups of labourers are installing culverts and drainage channels and engineers markers are newly placed. The relatively short unmade section has travelling this beautiful road a real pain for sports bikes, fingers crossed.
Sadly the Nor lea checkpoint to Fang still remains closed to riders.
