Garmin and Linux (Ubuntu)

Hi Guys,

Will get my Zumo next weekend.. I don't have a Mac and I don't use Windows at home.
Only Ubuntu.. Have managed to find free opensource substitutes for all my Windows apps a few years ago.

Do you know if there is anyway to work with Garmin and Linux? I would be a shame to have to install a pirated copy of windows just for Garmin.

Alternatively you could use Wine (http://www.winehq.org/) as this seems to allow the use of Garmin products like Mapsource (from http://www.bmwmotorcycleclubcape.co.za/ ... nux-ubuntu)

Thanks for this.. Just after that post it did cross my mind if WINE would work..
Looks like it will.. Certainly easier than the other messing about is it does.
