Many of you will know of the devastating fire at Wiang Pa Pao school in which at least 17 young girl's lost there lives , many of the Chiang Rai riding community are getting together this Monday the 30th of May at the Hangover bar for a ride out to the school to make donations etc

Meeting time around 9.30 am be great if the riding community can come together to support this event our ETA at the school is around 12.30 it would be great if some of the guy's in Chiang Mai area could meet up with us at the school or along the route we will be travelling on route 118 stopping at the Charin resort for a break along the way.

I don't have an exact location of the school but i suggest we meet at the White Cup Coffee located at
N19.31519 E99.5122 sometime around noon for riders joining us from other area's.

Hope to see you there.....

Auke has figured out where the school is:

School is located here: N19.34718 E99.51090 From the junction of Rd 1150 with Rd. 118 continue north for 2.5 km and turn right (just before the post office) and after 300 meter you will see the school on the right

It looks like its 2.5km north of the R 1150/ R 118 junction.

Just to update everyone, we managed to raise over 162 thousand baht collectively, Steve from Chiang Rai and his wife went back to the school on the 3rd of June and the money was divided up equally and given to each of the parents that suffered lose or their children had been injured in the fire.

Once again a big thank you to all that supported the cause.
