Great race event just north of Chiang Mai city, which was very well organized. The track was a little small but did spoil the racing or the mild drama.

No outside assistance was allowed (to start of with?)

Not one farrang was racing. Max races with them but not today.... Bike wash was charging 60 Bht a bike and making a fortune!

Good Photos Phil, looks like the ladies had a better race than the men judging by the photos

Watched the PM races, less water so much more interesting racing and less queues. The open class had 3-4 very impressive riders.
Happy I didn't participate, when I saw those kind of pictures in the morning:

What a brutal event this was - and that's just from the spectator's perspective. The heat was almost unbearable.

It wasn't as difficult as the 2015 Red Bull Hare Scramble, but it was the most difficult track I'd ever witnessed.

I respect and applaud all the racers who participated.

Also, thanks for the photos.
