Aprilia SL750 Shiver in Aus., rentals in LOS
Well, it's mid-winter here in Aus, so naturally thoughts turn to warmer climes. :) And much as I love the north, and think of CNX as a home away from home, I think it's time I explored other parts of Thailand.
I haven't really seen Isaan - it seems a pretty big area.. and from what I can glean on the net, there don't seem to be many options to hire decent bikes there.
So, has anyone had experience of hiring in Chiang Mai, and riding east.. all the way to Ubon Ratchathani and back? Or are there hire options over there I haven't discovered? And are hire places like C.P's cool with their 250's going our of province ( not country ) and gaining lots of kms over a couple of weeks? Any input to my preliminary planning would be gratefully received :)

Thanks for the replies so far... :)
... one word of warning Issan is VERY flat
Sounds just like western New South Wales... :yawning Might make for quick trip times between centres?
