Some new roads for me south of H11 on the way to look for the reservoirs
Not what I wanted to happen, I knew the arm was getting loose but it just suddenly flew off when I was on smooth asphalt
Nine strategically placed rubber bands held the unit in place all day even offroad, dont know if they will work as well if its seriously bumpy offroad riding though
I wasnt expecting to see flowing water out here
There is the dam but I cant reach it from this road
Riding alongside the dry overflow
Standing on the overflow looking at a completely dry at this point reservoir
At the dam crest and there is water
Hardly any water capacity in it though
This pleasant road leads to the second reservoir
This one has more water
But still far below full
I thought at first this was for irrigation but the water was coming out very slowly and the whirring noise tells me its a small hydropower unit
Another spitting cobra seen today, its only about 20 km from where I saw one two days ago, possibly the same one. It also didnt want to hang around for photos
No time for more exploring, the other reservoirs can be done tomorrow
