I took a slightly different route to Hot today as the 1156 is pretty straight and mundane
A few more bends were enjoyed
There is plenty of room for a lot more yet, that truck is only partly loaded
I pick up the Ping closer to Hot and not much water in it this far south
A few tracks I try out soon turn to unpaved
Plus I find some good asphalt ones too
This is just south of where the Mae Chaem river flows into the Ping

The Ping north of the confluence is a pitiful sight
Now to locate some reservoirs
Hardly any in this one
This one barely looked any better
This one on the other hand was a lot closer to full capacity than the first two were
The fun 4008
This reservoir has never been accessible before but a road has been cut to it and lots of clearing has taken place here
Another one with barely any water in it
Riding back towards Chiang Mai and the weirs on the Ping improve the water level
A kebab from Mr Kan at the night bazaar was enjoyed for 70 Baht
