How do you take and save a screenshot of the map you are viewing in MapSource?

Is there another program that needs to be downloaded or is it already there in MapSource and I am not seeing it?

Thanks,
Jim

There's a Print Screen (Prt Sc) button on your keyboard.
Hit this once.
Open any image editing program. (MS Paint)
Paste (Ctrl V) or top left of screen Edit - Paste
It should be there to edit/modify

For Mac users you can click

SHIFT+COMMAND+4

and that will make a target type cross appear on your screen, you clcik & drag / highlight the area you want to capture and let go.

This saves a file to your desktop called "blahblahblah.png"

You can rename it if you wish for cosmetic purposes but that image file is now uploadable to the forum.

Here is one I did earlier ;)

Thanks for the help.

I looked around in "accessories" and found a "snipping tool". I do not have MS Paint.

I was able capture, edit and upload it.

Thanks,
Jim

Yeah, I forgot about the easy option. I use it myself sometimes too.
