After getting a bit irritated, having to pay 1,200 Bht for 1 liter of Motorex or Motul, 4 stroke ,motorcycle synthetic engine oil, a friend spotted a real bargain in Chiang Mai.
The motorcycle spares shop on Kaew Nawarat Rd, next to the Honda dealer (just before the big Isuzu dealer sign when headed NE) has Elf fully synthetic 10W 50 motorcycle oil for 240 Bht A liter. If you buy a case of 18 liters he will sell for 230 Bht a liter.
Total the French oil company produce this oil, they are very reputable. Total SA has a market capitalization of USD$ 115 billion.
