Super Motard tires that are being used in Asia

With the exponential growth in Super Motard interest in Asia, especially north Thailand, it's quite interesting to see what tires people are using, that are available here.

Dunlop Sportmax GPR Alpha-10

Seems riders are liking these a lot, great grip in the corners, very predictable.

Pirelli Diablo

Touring tire ( so will get lots of KM's out of it) , was riding with someone with these tires last week & they were quite impressed with the grip considering how much use you can get out of them.

Pirelli Diablo Rain

I was riding with a friend who has these on a KTM 690R SM, they are the tire I want to try next - super soft compound won't last long, but don't even give in the gravel.

IRC

There is a cheap rear IRC super moto tire people have been using here, doesn't seem like its that great, but it's cheap

Avon Distanza

I've been using these for the last 1,000 km. It has decent grip, very predictable, good if you hit off-road/ rain.

I put on the new Alpha 12's.. After having a poor sportmax experience and avoiding dunlops ever since. Was a case of what was there when I needed tyres and just trying them out.

For a road use super moto.. They are superb.. I will happily have another set, they have been predictable and give me great confidence as a less than track skilled rider. Highly recommended for tarmac.

Another thing to note.. Distanzias come in 2 rubber types. Theres a soft rubber version thats good for maybe 5k (so I read) and a harder compound tour type good for upwards of 10 - 12k.. So make sure you know what your getting. The SM 17 inch sizes were usually the soft ones.

I was on the horns of this choice when I got the alpha 12's but then Pairoj couldnt source me a front the day I wanted them.

Dont think the contiforce was available when I looked.

I use Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SCII's front and rear. Apart from slicks I dont think there's anything better. Forget about off-road and softly softly goes it with them when its wet.

Around the 11K mark for a set from Pirelli BKK

Great dry use tyre at a cost of lifespan.

My fear with the super soft compounds tho is if I tour on less twisty rds, as I do sometimes with the dizzy, how badly will they square off ?? If it was a pure hooning machine in the hills then deffo a good choice, but I use my dizzy day to day also.

Do we all use Pairoj ?? Are there any other good dealers I should know of ?? I mean hes been solid with me, never bad advice, or let me down, but options are always good.
