Post your Asian bridge & water crossing photo's here

Another friend 'crossing' a small river on a KTM990.

This bridge crossing was actually quite hard to do on a big bike. The long planks were not level and it was easier to drop off onto the cross planks. My SatNav took me this way, but I am sure there is a less scary way to enter Luang Prabang

The last river crossing on the 4B heading to Luang Prabang, my mate Darryl's D-Tracker just died half way.

Nam Ngiap ferry at Ban Nong heading west at the start of a jungle track.

6 bikes, 2 trips on a rope pulled ferry.
I think it was 60,000K each

A lot of the pics here aren't showing up Phil, is it the attachment use causing this?

They all show up on my screen currently? do 3 or 4 at a time then hit reply for safety and recheck them, it could be something to do with how many people are viewing the thread at the same time.

Where's all the money I pay for bridge maintenance going? :-)
What a difference 12 months makes...

Not a crossing, but a part of the Mekong 12 months apart.
You'll notice a boat has been smashed against the rocks in the second photo.

Looks like it might be shallow enough for a truck to get through

Still no warning at the top, the 55 gallon drums are gone - highly dangerous

Do we call Cape York part of Asia? I do...

The first guy through Nolan's Creek drowned his Tenere and used up all our spare oil, so we carried the rest of the bikes through. My Super Enduro...

Did you guys ask how much? I found that they always took what I offered, except when I forgot. The most I got hit was 50,000 kip. From then on I handed over a 5,000 or 10,000 and that was that.

I spent a while trying to negotiate with her and writing numbers in the sand of all things to make myself understood, but she was having none of it i did have a quick reckie at the GPS and there was no other way so she had us by the shorts so we just smiled and bent over !!!

Pounce, the twin boat just appeared, when we pulled up just two single boats could be seen and i thought this was going to be fun and hey presto the deluxe ferry showed up.

Have to say this one of the better tracks and the way we rode it was maybe the better option, from Luang Prabang the track was widened by the power pole guy's and was boring but as we got further in and passed them it was loads of fun, expecially if you like water crossings

Prize for anyone who get across this one??
