A while ago, a few of us went out to the Analayo Wat, in Phayao



You could get there and back in a day from Chiang Mai pretty easily.

Hotel in Phayao was 350 bht, clean and cheap



It had safe secure parking inside for the bikes

Rob & I then shot over to Nan

There' s a beautiful art gallery on the outskirts of Nan that is worth a visit, the landscaping an architecture are beautiful

From there we took the fabulous R 1148 back to Chiang Mai, beautiful view from this road
