New Immigration Office, Chiang Mai

For those living in or near Chiang Mai the new Immigration office at Promenada Mall is now open and providing some services.
It is NOT located at the previous site on the ground floor.

It is now on the second floor next to the Krungsri bank at the site that, I think, used to be the Government Savings Bank.
It may be a better alternative to the site near the airport as it offers ample under cover parking, plenty of snackeries and coffee shops and good shopping.

Open for "Thai nationality"? What does that mean? Surely Thais don't need to register themselves in their own country!
