The fifth Chiang Mai International Music Festival will take place at the historic Three Kings Monument in the centre of Chiang Mai’s old city from 08-10 March 2013 The three-day annual event will feature a fascinating mix of cultural, traditional and popular entertainment. Professional artists and dance troupes will be flown in from many different countries to form the centerpiece, and provide a beautiful spectacle of colour, rhythm, movement and harmony. Foreign residents from different parts of the world will operate colourful booths displaying specialties from their homeland. Some residents will perform on stage, creating a huge medley of fun and goodwill. Local businesses, international companies, hotels, and restaurants will occupy other booths, the ensemble guaranteeing three days of pure enjoyment. Major sponsors and supporters, together with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the City Administration, will add to the dynamics, the ambiance, and the publicity.
