In between rain showers I have been taking the new Royal Enfield out for some exercise.
There is a lot to see in the Doi Saket area.
Yesterday we went out towards the Mae Kuang Dam, just to see what we could see along the minor roads.
I was not aware of this very large shelter. (18.919, 99.148)
Off to the left I stumbled upon this beautiful Temple site, set in peaceful and relaxing grounds.
This is Wat Wang Tahn at 18.921, 99.140.
This is my birthday icon. (Saturday)
I believe it is to do with rain and wind but need to do research.
Maybe some-one can enlighten (pardon the pun) me?
The Temple has a well documented story, which I found to be somewhat sad.
On the way home we stumbled upon this classic old teak building.
Then the rain arrived just as I reached home.
