Laos Paper Map

While in Laos during my recent trip I found this map of Laos which looks very much like another Laos map (in particular the city maps) which we won't mention on this forum. Bought the map in one of the Government Tourist Information Centers in one of the northern provinces where it appeared to be sold to generate some additional income for the Information Center.

I think i've seen the same one for sale while i was in Laos, it didn't look very useful as there was hardly any detail (as you can see from the image above).


Still yet to find a Laos printed map that is even close in detail to the Gekko Maps, Laos printed map.

Personally I like the "Reise Know How" map for Laos better then the Gecko map not because of the details which is the same but because it is printed on rip and waterproof material so it is more durable (my Gecko map fell apart after a few trips) and it much better readable than the Gecko map.
