KTM Freeride E-SM

Currently expensive, but all that new tech..

These will be fun useable city hoppers in the next couple of years.. I am keen to ride one.

2014 Zero FX Launch Video (Natural Sound) - YouTube

Jonny Walker and Danny MacAskill on it.

very cool vid ..it does make u feel to just throw some extra cash at it! ;)

I think where they will be great is super light category.. downhill MTB meets motorbike segement..

Those osfet trials mixed with a yamaha air tricker mixed to a motorbike..

Still a very long way to go... They are heavy, make no power, not that much torque have a battery time of not even one hour + are expensive! As comparison to a good old smoker ktm 250/300 they are 10kg heavier, about only 30% of the power and have a fair bit less torque.

Those bikes are the future, but certainly not the present...

EDIT: so far the only advantage is that I can ride it in my bedroom.

Looks pretty cool and nice to see Danny on powered two wheels, all we need now is lot's of empty power stations and we're sorted :dirtbike:
