ROYAL ENFIELD CLASSIC
I needed to spend a couple of hours in Honda Big Wing, Chiang Mai this afternoon … and I'm glad I did for there's a lot to learn by doing so.

A Thai guy rode in on the best sounding CB500X I have heard to date.
My limited Thai and his limited English enabled a conversation of sorts.
The end result is that he loves the bike and he described where he had the replacement muffler done.

His issue was that the white colour on his fuel tank was 'yellowing' in places.
An office worker came out and photographed the tank out in the sunshine.
He gets a replacement tank.

Another Thai guy rides in on a NC700 which has just had its seat lowered one inch.
A thoroughly professional job which looks superb.
500 baht.
He's changed his 500X (which he enjoyed) for the NC700 and much prefers the latter.

There's now only a two week wait for a new 500X.

There was a great deal of excitement there over the 18th December arrival of the CBR650F and the CB650F.

12,000 km service for my CRF = 412 baht!
And they don't seem to mind customers watching them work, asking questions and giving instructions.
If they do they're too polite to say so!

Thanks always good to hear a report on a major shop.
Sounds like their doing well there at BW
I went to the grand opening & it was a very nice setup

Also thanks for the heads up about the 650 on the 18th
would like to go & take a peek.
