Geoff Hill and Gary Walker, two Irish adventurists sponsored by BMW UK (and other sponsors) on the Clancy Centenary Ride, will be passing through Asia on the below dates:
April 25: Geoff and Gary fly to Sri Lanka
April 26-May 4: Sri Lanka
May 4: Geoff and Gary fly Sri Lanka to Kuala Lumpur
May 5-10: Malaysia to Singapore
May 11-13: Singapore
May 14: Geoff and Gary fly Singapore to Hong Kong
May 14-16: Hong Kong
May 17: Geoff and Gary fly Hong Kong to Shanghai
May 17-19: Shanghai
May 20: Geoff and Gary fly to Nagasaki
May 21-27: ride to Tokyo
May 30: Geoff and Gary fly Tokyo to Los Angeles
Once they reach the United States they will connect with American riders on June 2, to ride from San Francisco to New York. New York City is where Carl Stearns Clancy departed from 100 years ago to become the first motorcyclist to circumnavigate the globe, doing approximately 18,000 miles in 10 months.
