Garmin Nuvi 1250

Is there anyway to upload tracks or routes to the above mentioned cheap and nasty GPS unit? Ive tried through Mapsource and BaseCamp, it says the files have transferred successfully, however when I search in the units favorites they are not there!!!

On my cheap crap Garmin Nuvifone it's hidden in "Search", "routes", "options", "Import routes". Then it shows the gpx I copied on the sd, but fails to import them.

I don't know the Nuvi 1250 that well but as far as I know you can not send tracks and routes to the Nuvi 1250. You can send waypoints only.

The only way to make a route is to use the map in the unit with waypoints like the Starting Point, Endpoint and Intermediate points as otherwise the Nuvi will calculate the shortest/fastest route which may not be to your liking.

I agree with lonerider thats the way i had to do it in the past. Pain in arse, but dont forget its only a cheap gps
