We took the 1001 out of town to Long Kord then here I had breakfast
I soon located the bag of green shyte and after explaining that this was not allowed near my food I sat down to eat
A spicy moo phad kapow soon had the stomach full and warmed right up for 30 Baht
Now we are ready to ride off road, this first section is a new adventure for the other four but its my third time along here and one I really like
The unpaved starts at N19.04.414 E099.11.767
The first of the iron bridges soon comes into view
All safely through though three of us got out feet wet
The next water crossing which also has an iron bridge
I walked across but no one fancied riding across it
Three years ago this appeared to be a restaurant but now its completely abandoned

A bit of illegal logging judging by their reaction to the camera, the chainsaw was quickly stopped and they didnt like being photographed
I suddenly notice I am not being followed and wait for a few minutes here
Here they come, Eddie had got a puncture in the front tyre and was taking it easy, he made it to Mae Khachan where it was fixed for 50 Baht
Some dust sure got kicked up
Eddie is at the back taking it easy, we ride into Mae Khachan where the others ate, I was still full, then we split and took the 118 back at our own separate speeds after a fun days ride.
The off road section finished at N19.11.650 E099.29.388
A lovely tender steak, fried potatoes and fried onions at Riders Corner for 250 Baht tonight
