The reservoir a few km further on and the scenic views from the last trip a few weeks ago have gone and its now a bit smoggy looking into the hills
Further up and at least the roadside vegetation is still green
Plenty of potatoes growing closer to the Ping river end of the canal
Windy and cooler as we approach the Ping with a hint of rain in the air
I had estimated the trip following the canals from where the 2047 starts off H 11 all the way to the weir on the Ping as about 100 km but today my GPS told me it was 127 km of fun winding roads
