Some serious single track was explored today







Out in the open and good fun tracks



In one of the villages we stopped at



It spat about with rain occasionally but thankfully came to nothing

That was a steep descent





I had to walk to join up a short section of track holding the GPS, the track was rideable by the ideal light bike and talented rider but we gave it a miss

There was a dead dog lying on this track that had lots of foam around its mouth and a hell of a puddle of foam/saliva all around it, I was curious of what it died of but foolishly never got a photo

























This section wasnt much fun and wasted time and a lot of sweat getting the bikes turned around and out again



Even the locals were struggling







A great ride out, thanks Bob for riding with me today and two loose ends were tied up

We both had burgers at N N Pizza

105 Baht for the three and they were nice too

On the way to Fang to meet up, early morning mist.

The man himself all fuelled and fed and ready to go.

After the 50km ride along the 109 it was onto the trails.

The start of a single track section Colin had hoped would link up, but didn't.

Things started to look messy !

Parking the bike, no need for side stand.

After a while some passing locals told us it ended in a village, time for a turn around.

Colin almost lost it on the slick edge to this mud bath.

Back on the original trail.

Hard farming in this area.

Lots of small water crossings.

WE cam into a small village, Colin spotted a small trail he wanted to check out that may link to another one from last season.

After a lot of effort the trail was going nowhere, turn around again.

Just to the left was a goat track Colin was sure would link up since we had no goat Colin hiked up GPS in hand and made the link, 10minutes later returned with a big smile.

Back to Fang and a room at the Ban Fang Hotel 400 baht.
