The route 107, 1346, 1001, 4031
Total distance 217 km

It was a wet start in Fang yesterday morning but by the time I left the roads were drying out

Along the 1346 and these dogs were intent on having their chin wag in the middle of the road.
Whenever traffic came by they moved out of the way but as soon as it had passed they were back in the middle of the road again

They were barking non stop but no snarling or fighting was happening

Tending the crop of green shyte

Its actually starting to brighten up which is a bonus as I was expecting a wet ride back to Chiang Mai

Muddy brown water is not what should be seen now

The edge of the Mae Ngat from along the 1001

I ride to the back of the Mae Kuang reservoir hoping to see it fuller than this

I have never noticed this flashing light on previous visits

It took a few shots to get a photo of it red

I remember riding here a few years back when the water level was well up the road but back then I didnt know how to get to the overflow.
I have never seen it that high since though

I try out this new restaurant tonight opposite Mikes Burgers in Chang Moi road at N18.79044 E098.99385

Pakistan food here at what used to be Pinky's Burgers

A tasty chicken Manchurian and rice for 200 Baht

Down at the market opposite the US Consulate and some flooding
