I sat beside a roadside 'safety check' yesterday for about 3 minutes just to observe law enforcement.
Only one passerby wore helmets and NO-ONE was stopped!
Four officers were sitting 'on duty'.
And some 75% of Thailand's road deaths are from motorbike accidents, the vast majority of whom were not
wearing a helmet.

As a policeman once told me when he was giving a speeding ticket when I remonstrated about the riders screaming by, It's like shooting ducks lad, you can only shoot one at a time :ROFLMAO:
