Interested in seeing if anyone is making a bask plate for the CRF that has a small toolbox incorporated in it?

Saw one in an Oz mag and is made by Force (think a US company) but if avaiable in LOS prefer to buy there.

Have a few klms on the bike now and would like to start with a few bolt on bits .

read the Rick Ramsey mods and like the new tail arrangement ,any one done it here also??

Back up in LOS in Oct and plan to get up to Chaing Mai as it seems to be the home of the CRFs in Thailand and look forward to meeting a few of you guys .

Frank -- If you're going to use it off-road its not really a good idea having the tools that low as no matter how water proof you make it, after a few water crossings water will find it's way in there. Much better to put the tools on the front fender or behind the seat, Wolfman Luggage make some good tool bags in this arrangement.
