Total distance 176 km

Out along the 1006 and a bit of burning is taking place

The 1229 is okay on this stretch but soon turns to potholes a bit further on

This Buddha wasnt here on my last ride this way

Along the 2031 and a pleasant ride but gravel and debris on the surface in places

Lots of workers harvesting the old fashioned way

I reach hwy11 do a left then a u turn before taking a left onto the 1033 to take a smaller road to Lamphun then its the road back to Chiang Mai that runs next to the railway line.

The royal burger and fries at Pinkys Wings for 220 Baht tonight, a very filling meal

Maybe I should spend less time in Laos and more time around Chiangmai and surroundings - great report and very nice pictures. Thanks for showing me what is so nearby the place I live.
