Chaingmai - Doi Mae Salong - Doi Tung - Fang - Doi Ang Khan - 2 day trip

Heading north from Chiang Mai R107 leads onto R1089 at Fang then heads ENE towards Mae Chan.

This photo of R1089 hopefully gives you an idea how beautiful the roads are up there

Doi Mae Salong on R1234 has a small morning market, where you can get some ok photo's

Sarge - this was in early November the clouds and sky were beautiful.

North Thailand markets - I think Mae Sai is one of the best as it's big and being at the Myanmar border get all the diverse cultures.

The Doi Mae Salong morning market is ok but very small compared to others.

I want to try the morning markets for photo's at the refugee camps between Mae Sarieng and Mae Sot as well sometime, there will be some great expression opportunities.
