Best cities in Asia for buying gear?

I'm currently based in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh) most of the time, where gear selection is very poor.

Do you guys have any comparison between the major Asian cities for buying gear? The only other major city I've tried is Bangkok - I've been to Panda Rider, Paddock, Dainese, Alpinestars, and few others. Looks like they even have a Touratech shop there now.

Bangkok remains my top pick, but are there any other cities worth considering? Hong Kong/Singapore maybe?

I'm primarily looking for high quality adventure/touring gear.
