25 Baht for the chips and they were very nice too

But at 25 Baht a burger nothing to complain about

Outside Kad Suan Kaew and although it says monster burgers they were anything but

I ride back to the edge of the Mae Kuang and remember once about 10 years ago when quite a few metres of the asphalt was under water.
Unfortunately I didnt know where the overflow was back then as quite possibly it was full

The track on the other side that will take me back to the 1001

In the distance is the new bridge that I came to see

At the overflow and the only water here is from the recent rainfall

Finally at the Mae Kuang reservoir and a disappointingly low water level

Huai Ak reservoir

The track becomes overgrown and finishes at this tree

A track runs alongside it and I meet this Guy picking his mushrooms

Huai Klang reservoir

It wouldnt be northern Thailand without smoke from a fire, this was from dried coconut husks burning in an incinerater

Then the track alternates between wet and dry

The KLX was clean this morning

Now for some mud

For the first time ever I see it overflowing

Huai Cho reservoir

A twisty road through the trees

Looks like the water level was a good metre higher recently

A muddy Ping river

Just north of Chiang Mai along the side roads
