I dont usually see Western tourist couples with their kid out in these rigs
The Mae Sariang river appears to have slightly more water than the Yuam right now
Out of town and both rivers have merged by now so a slightly better flow
All thats flowing south as I ride over it at Sop Moei
High up on the 3004 and still a flow here
The view from the viewpoint at the top of the 3004
A mixed blessing is the 3004 now that its finished, the dirt section was great at the end of the rainy season but this time of the year was horrible with losts of bulldust from the heavy volume of traffic and is therefore a lot nicer to ride right now
I ride it to the end of the paved section south of Le Kho then back track to Le Kho to do the dirt loop
I mainly wished I hadnt bothered, the bulldust is non stop
A short concrete section under the bulldust which goes towards a village but I turn off earlier, I am wondering if they will concrete from Le Kho all the way here soon
The tractors has been through here and it was a loose surface pretty much the whole way
Still a small flow into the Yuam
The Yuam and it looks a lot deeper on the other side
The Mae Lit and Mae Ngao rivers have added their volume to the Yuam between here and Sop Moei and its a much stronger flow
I heard what I thought was a bike but it was a boat going up river
He was making very slow progress at this point
Its a wide river here in the wet season thats for sure
Another boat travels down river
Lots of fires out there putting all that smoke up
We have passed each other a few times during the last twenty minutes
Blue sky here and some nice looking clouds
Chicken, chips, onions and salad at Sawaddee 150 Baht
