Just before Mae Sam Laep and the river is virtually dried up
That is one large basket of leaves he is carrying
Its a bit late in the dry season to be planting on the Salawin river bank
Some goats here as usual
Just past Mae Sam Laep and cattle are coming over from Myanmar
We ride down an unmapped side track
Sadly no new village at the end, just these workers
Very dry and dusty trails now
That lot will go up soon I guess
Tamara enjoying the off road riding, its a pity we didnt do this trip in december when the views were a lot better
In one of the villages
The 3004 is pretty much all paved now I guess, the section we rode was finished and where we turned off it the concrete carried on south towards Le Kho
This would have been a nightmare to ride this time of year before it was paved
Views from the viewpoint before we start the descent to Sop Moei
Halfway to Sop Moel and still a bit of water flowing here
Repairs being done along the 3004
Back in my room and this large butterfly has called in for a visit
Kamol gai and fried onions from the market 60 Baht
